ABOUT ME
Hi, I'm Ateret
Atura (ah-too-RA) Studio is a Pittsburgh-based boutique that specializes in Ketubah and Memorial Art. It started with my love of the artwork and is continually inspired by the love of family and friends.
Aptly suited to the task, Atura (עטורה) in Hebrew means ornamented or adorned. At Atura Studio we not only decorate and illustrate the piece of art, we adorn the home with love, beauty, and tradition.
Artist and Owner of Atura Studio, I have been designing Ketubot for over a decade. With a Masters degree from Maryland Institute College of Art and a BA in Linguistics from Carnegie Mellon University, my training helps me create a perfect union between words and imagery.
As the daughter of two Conservative movement Rabbis, with deep roots in the Jewish Community, I understand the wants and needs of traditional Judaism as well as possess a more modern approach on Jewish traditions.
